UI Academic Calendar 2024/2025 Academic Session Announced

We wish to notify all new and returning students of University of Ibadan (UI) that the university’s administration has made adjustments to the academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The revised UI academic calendar is designed to span approximately one year. All academic and non-academic activities have been meticulously scheduled within the approved timeframe, as directed by the university’s management.

The Senate of Federal University Of Ibadan convened an emergency meeting  during which they ratified the adjusted academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic sessions as outlined below:

2. Virtual Orientation for New Students 03/04/24 – Thur. 04/04/24
3. Commencement of 6 weeks for Virtual Lectures 08/04/24 – Fri. 17/05/24
4. Matriculation Ceremony (Virtual) – Tue. 23/04/24
5. Post-virtual lectures break – Mon. 20/05/24 – Fri. 07/06/24
6. Physical Resumption on campus for New Students/ Commencement of online Registration for Returning Students – Mon. 10/06/24
7. Commencement of 11 weeks for Teaching/Revision and Continuous Assessment – Mon. 17/06/24 – Fri. 30/08/24

Students Arrive for Commencement of 2024/2025 Academic Session on Monday, 14/04/2025 Postgraduate Students to resume along with the undergraduate students

COMMENCEMENT OF THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

Students are expected to mark their calendars for 1st April 2024, as the start of the next academic session. Notably, postgraduate students will be resuming alongside their undergraduate counterparts.
